I'm always interested in knowing what products other women are using, so today I am sharing what's in my makeup bag! I tend to stick to budget friendly drugstore cosmetics. In the cooler months, my skin becomes quite dry, so I like to use products that add back in a healthy looking glow. Actually, I love glowing, fresh looking skin, all year round!
FOR THE FACE:
*I have combination skin, and I am absolutely loving the Maybelling Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation-115 Natural Ivory, which is surprisingly non-drying, even in Winter. This foundation creates a flawless but natural look. The formula looks beautiful all day! I set my face using Maybelline Shine Free Loose Powder-Light, which is the best powder I have found for setting makeup.
*For my cheeks, I love the peachy pink tone of CoverGirl Cheekers Blush-Natural Rose. I contour my face with Wet'nWild Color Icon Bronzer-Sunset Striptease. To make my face really glow, I love the Wet'nWild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder-Blossom Glow.
FOR THE EYES:
*Although I am lucky that I don't have dark circles, I still like to brighten up my under eye area with Maybelline Cover Stick Concealer-Ivory. For my lashes, I use Maybelline Great Lash Big Mascara-Very Black , which is by far the best mascara I have ever used! A couple of coats gives you full, long, soft looking lashes.
*I prefer a subtle look for eyeshadow, and CoverGirl Eye Enhancers Trio-Cafe Au Lait is my daily go to.
*I use Maybelline Defin-A-Line Eyeliner-Brownish Black, and line right up against my upper lashline. I use brown instead of black, to add some definition without too much harshness.
*I have one brow product, which is in pencil form. There are so many options out there now!
FOR THE LIPS:
*I love having some color on my lips. I just feel I look so much more put together and polished with a bit of lipcolor on. I have chronically dry/chapped lips, so I opt for a hybrid gloss/liquid lipstick. I have one lipliner, that matches both my lipcolors well.
My whole routine takes less than 10 minutes, and really helps liven up my face!
