Living Small-Our Room

I like our bedroom to feel like a cozy retreat, so I have a lot of soft lighting, and candles.
I re-finished the mirror above our bed, using chalkboard spray paint, then wrote song lyrics on it. I keep our wedding picture on the wall next to our bed.
I often keep the TV on a fireplace YouTube channel (since our bedroom does not have a real fireplace), and it really adds to the serene ambiance.
My tiny computer desk fits perfectly in the corner, next to our bed, but I eventually want to switch to a laptop to create more open space.
We went from having his and her closets, to only one shared closet, so we made up for the lack of closet space by putting in a chest of drawers, a coffee table with storage baskets, and a cubby shelf.
Our bedroom faces our back yard, and I love how peaceful it is! I love looking out our window and seeing a wall of trees!
That's an electric piano. I have played piano since the age of five, and it really helps with my stress and anxiety!
I usually keep the curtains on the side window closed, since it faces our neighbors house, and I think privacy is super important for any bedrooms. I love having a small TV in the bedroom, for when my husband is hogging the living room (usually playing his video games!).
We managed to fit quite a bit of furniture into our modest sized room, but what really helps is that we chose furniture pieces that offer a lot of extra storage! We have more than enough space to store all our stuff! Up next, the kids rooms!
