We went from having two full baths, down to one, and it's quite small. However, like the kitchen, storage was kept in mind when this bathroom was constructed. I actually love having less bathroom space to clean, since bathrooms are my least favorite area to clean!
There is storage below the sink, above the toilet, as well as built in wall shelving. There is also two deep storage areas behind the door, so there is actually plenty of places to store everything we need. I don't keep of a lot of extra anything, and de-clutter often, which is key in smaller spaces like this.
I tried to keep the decor as gender neutral as possible, since I am seriously outnumbered by boys in my home! I wanted everyone to feel comfortable and happy, while they're getting ready for their day! I love the waffle weave white shower curtain (Walmart $10), because it reminds me of a hotel or a spa. I tend to switch up bathroom decor often, so it's quite likely I will end up with a different shower curtain/bath rug combination at some point. However, for now, I am enjoying it!
