Thank you, for sharing your stories with me, and for all the love and support you have given me over the years, for sharing so many of my own personal stories. The encouragement, and praise shown to me for being brave enough to open myself up to the world, gave me the strength and desire to continue to share. However, that time has come to an end.
I opened myself on my blog, because not only is writing an incredible healing outlet, but also so that those with similar struggles, would feel less alone, and more understood.
Never settle for less than you deserve, especially from those who are supposed to give you the most. Never allow your boundaries to be crossed, and never allow anyone to rob you of your peace, even if they are related.
Never forget your worth, and that you deserve to be seen for all the amazing things you are.
Since most of my readers are mamas, this final part is just for you....
Motherhood is hard, and American society makes it so much harder. However, we are doing the most important (and toughest) job in the world, no matter who says otherwise. We are shaping tomorrow's society, one precious child at a time. It may not pay well, or get the recognition it deserves, but motherhood is EVERYTHING, and your efforts are not in vain.
